HERONGRANGE GROUP SUPPORTS THE INTRODUCTION OF AMNESTY BINS

Tackling Knife Crime

Local man Danny Mondesir has set up the Street Whyze Project designed to create a multi-agency approach to tackling knife crime in Burton and Swadlincote.

He said: “Street Whyze Project is something that I set up in December upon seeing more news around serious incidents involving the use of knives.”

“Due to further incidents occurring over the last few weeks, including some which have ended up with lives being lost, I have tried to gain momentum quickly to begin a multi-agency approach to tackling knife crime in Burton and Swadlincote.”

Herongrange Group, along with many other local businesses, are proud to offer our full support to this project with the introduction of amnesty bins aiming to make our area safer for everyone.
