Steve has been working in the security industry for over 25 years and has incredible knowledge across all departments. He is always on the lookout for ways to grow the business and improve our existing high standards. Steve is the driving force behind the business, with a keen eye for spotting opportunities that most people would not pick up on.
David works alongside the management team to develop and execute business strategies for Herongrange. He ensures that all communication with stakeholders is directed and productive. David has worked in the security industry since 2003, holding various operations director and managing director positions, and believes in raising standards within the industry.
David is an IT professional, specialising in security solutions within the construction industry. David has an incredible reputation for delivering quality products and services to clients such as Bellway Homes and Kier Construction. David has been designing software for more than 25 years and is now excited to work as part of a team with a unified approach within the security industry.
Bary joined the Royal Marines at 16 and completed five years of service. Since then, he has worked as Area Manager for a national security company and as a venue manager for a well-known chain of bars.
Bary then worked as an Operations Manager in 2004 and since 2011, has also been a Maritime Security Team Leader and Close Protection Operative with some top Maritime and land-based companies.
Gary joined the Royal Marines and completed eight years of service, seeing operational tours of Northern Ireland, Sierra Leone, Iraq and Afghanistan. He served two years on the Maritime Counter Terrorism Team before leaving in 2007. Gary started close protection in 2007, working in all sectors ranging from PSD in Iraq to Team Leader on super yachts.
After 30 years in procurement, Phil has gone from being ‘under interrogation’ from auditors, to conducting the audits himself. As Quality & Compliance Director, he works across all departments to ensure standards do not slip. With a background in heavily controlled industries such as Pharmaceutical and Oil & Gas, Phil understands the importance of compliance and maintaining quality.
As Key Account Manager, Frank builds long-term relationships and loves providing robust solutions to client challenges within the Construction Security environment. Tailoring our offer to match engaged clients’ requirements provides excellent results all round and is very satisfying.
With many years’ experience in Sales and Administration, Chelsea brings a wealth of experience to our Sales Department. Chelsea is responsible for direct initial client communications, sales admin and support including managing the calendars of the sales team.

Maciej has been with Risk Security Solutions Ltd (RSS) for over eight years, managing mainly the Southern sites; he took over as Area Manager for the south in 2022. His area covers a bespoke security service within RSS dealing with a wide range of venues, including University campuses, covid pods, football stadiums, bespoke street marshalling, as well as pubs and club.
Maciej’s Batchelor degree in Sociology and sixteen years in security make him a pleasure to work with, applying a calming presence in all situations.
With nine years of experience at one of the biggest casinos in the UK, with a capacity of 1820 (Genting Casino Westcliff), Jay has developed a great understanding of what it takes to maintain exceptional service within the industry. Coming from a front-of-house door supervision role, he worked up to Head Door Supervisor and managed a team of 8. Within this time, he has worked at clubs, bars and the prestigious hotel “The Ned”, based in the city of London, before stepping up to Area Manager with Risk Security Solutions Ltd for London, predominantly dealing with casinos.
Jay is also a qualified personal trainer; he has had a passion for boxing training since the age of 14, and has competed in the Golden Gloves Boxing League.
Having been in the industry for twenty-five years, Jason is an experienced senior operational manager. He has been responsible for the security provisions of multiple hospitality and commercial venues across the Northwest region. Jason is also an excellent communicator with a proven track record of key stakeholder relationship management, business development and training/mentoring, strategic planning, contract negotiation, people management and KPI delivery.
Jason has worked for Risk Security Solutions Ltd since 2021 and is a lifelong Martial artist. Having studied and trained in a wide range of martial arts, boxing and wrestling, he, up until recently, also ran his own MMA Academy.
Bill oversees our Scotland operations, managing all our security contracts North of the border. Bill is a highly experienced security professional with over 25 years of industry experience; he enjoys the variety of clients that make up his portfolio and works tirelessly to ensure they are receiving the service they require.
Lee Hammond is an experienced and highly respected Operations Manager with a strong track record in the security industry. With over a decade of leadership experience.
Lee has built a reputation for operational excellence, strategic thinking, and unwavering dedication to safeguarding clients’ assets.
Known for his hands-on approach and calm demeanor under pressure, Lee specializes in protecting property and infrastructure from theft, fire, vandalism, and terrorism. He is passionate about creating secure environments through clear communication, disciplined procedures, and a client-first mindset.
Lee’s leadership style is collaborative and empowering, helping develop the next generation of security professionals while delivering high standards of service. His colleagues (past/present) have praised his guidance, depth of knowledge, and commitment to going above and beyond. These qualities have made him a key figure in the success of numerous security operations.

Sam has over ten years’ worth of experience working within the security industry, focusing in particular on the logistics and operational planning elements for the electronics division. He works closely with the engineering team as well as liaising with other departments to ensure desired operational outcomes are achieved in an efficient manner.
I have been in the industry 2 years now and have gained a vast amount of knowledge in the sector, I enjoy the problem solving aspects to the role as they make each day interesting and and a new challenge always presents itself. Away from work I spend quality time with my son and also enjoy watching football and rugby.

Helen has been managing Finance Teams for over 12 years, implementing new systems, leading and working with finance teams to ensure the accuracy of the management accounts. Helen is AAT level 4 qualified and has just sat her last ACCA exam. Helen enjoys the fast pace and demands of the finance department and when she is not number crunching, she is relaxing with her dogs, travelling or simply reading a book.
Marie works alongside the Finance Director. Starting her career as a Purchase Ledger Clerk, she has worked in finance for over thirty years. Marie completed her AAT qualifications up to level 4 in January 2000. Her aim within the finance team is to ensure all relationships are maintained to the highest standard within the company.
Kerry is the accounts assistant for Herongrange. She is a naturally diligent, conscientious and detail-focused finance assistant. Kerry has worked in finance and accounts for over ten years and thoroughly enjoys the role.

Emily is an organised Office Manager with a solid ability to manage office functions. She is responsible for arranging meetings and appointments, making office supply arrangements, greeting visitors and providing administrative support to our employees. Emily is hardworking and versatile, with proven organisational skills and thorough knowledge of policies and procedures.
I am in the IT department and my role is to assist in any IT issues for either our list of clients or internally for Herongrange. I have several years of experience in IT ranging from supporting blue chip companies to smaller and medium sizes businesses and feel I can bring a variety of knowledge to Herongrange and its customers.
